Class of 2007 prospect, Rob Winnicki of Herscher High School, is one of the most unnoticed talents in the state of Illinois. Standing 6'6" 215 lbs., Winnicki posses both the size and the skill to be projected as one of the top post players in his class.

As an 8th grader, Rob led his junior high school team to a third place IESA class AA state title. Previously, he was a 6'4" 150 lbs. combo forward. He has since added a lot to his size and game.

Winnicki combines an abundance of strength, good rebounding abilities, and great post moves. He is fundamentally sound and knows how to finish around the basket. Winnicki will be the key player in the success of a tough Herscher this season. They have a great chance at winning the Class A title. They are one of the more elite teams in their class.

Winnicki currently isn't playing with anyone on the AAU circuit. He would, however, be a great addition to any program.

MidStateHoops.com will try to keep you updated with the latest news in Rob's life regarding basketball.
