Premature Top Class AA Teams

1. Simeon - Derrick Rose and Tim Flowers return. They also add Jelani Poston to sure-up their inside presence. Kevin Johnson and Bryant Orange provide added power to a team that could begin a possible 2-year reign of the state.



2. St. Joseph - Losing Tony Freeman will hurt, but Demetri McCamey and Evan Turner are prepared to take on greater responsibilites in his absence. Jon Peoples is poised to lead his team downstate in this, his final season.



3. Von Steuben - Jeremie Simmons emerged as a strong scorer for this team last season. Michael Horton proved himself to be one of the top 10 most impactful players in his class as he leads the attack from the point guard position.



4. Glenbrook North - Sean Wallis and Matt Gold are gone. However the state's top player Jon Scheyer returns with bigs Zach Kelly and Jonathon Radke.



5. Thornton - Joevan Catron will have to pull this team together. Mustapha Farrakan and Paris Veal must make an impact at the guard positions.
