Catron Ready to Choose
September 14, 2005

MidStateHoops.com is reporting that Joevan Catron is ready to pick his school. The University of Arizona as well as the University of Illinois have made late pushes. However, it appears the University of Oregon is the School for Joevan.

The Ducks made a home visit to Catron last week. Another visit is scheduled for Catron to go to the univeristy next week. Assuming all goes well, he is expected to make an official announcement at that time. Catron's former coach at Brooks Middle School, Kiethan Holmes, told MidState Hoops that Joevan loves their presentation and is ready to invade the Pac-10.

Catron ranks as one of the top players in Illinois. He is expected to carry a Thornton team that is talented but is yet to gain a lot of playing experience together. He will be the cornerstone. Many believe they will only go as far as his broad shoulders can carry them.
